1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

  • Simplex Infrastructure received an order worth Rs.630 crore from Dubai for a 56 storey commercial complex. The work order is scheduled for completion within 30 months.

  • Punj Lloyd bagged an order worth $800 million (Rs.3,636 crore) from Qatar Petroleum for the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of strategic gas transmission project.

22 Sep 08

  • Punj Lloyd Upstream, a subsidiary of Punj Lloyd has received a LoI from Waha Oil Co, Libya, for drilling exploratory wells in the Gialo oilfield of the prolific Sirte Basin. The proposed contract is valued at $42 million (approx Rs.168 crore) (more news)

  • Larsen & Toubro secured an equipment order for $160 million (approx. Rs.640 crore) to manufacture and supply 10 hydro treating reactors and 12 coke drums for Petrobras' prestigious 2,00,000 bpd Northeast refinery project in Brazil.

  • Punj Lloyd's wholly owned Singapore subsidiary bagged an order worth Rs.167 crore from FWP, a joint venture between Foster Wheeler Asia Pacific Pte and Worley Parsons Pte to carry out select utilities mechanical works on Jurong Island, Singapore.

  • Aban Offshore bagged a contract worth $18 million (approx Rs.79.20 crore) for the deployment of the new build jack-up rig Deep Driller 7 offshore Thailand, for a firm period of 3 months, extendable up to 6 months.
  • Bilpower awarded an EPC contract worth $30 million (approx Rs.120 crore) for rural electrification in Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Region of Ghana. The work order is expected  to complete in 18 months. The contract is backed financially by Exim Bank of India.

  • Energy Development Co received sub-contract for supply of equipment for Greater Imphal project under APDRP scheme, valued at Rs.51 crore. The order is to be executed in within 6-8 months.

  • Indo Asian Fusegear (IAFL) bagged an order worth Rs.23 crore for supplying power distribution equipment in West Africa. The order consists of electrical distribution equipment used in the distribution of power.
