A B Infrabuild has been awarded a contract following the receipt of a letter of acceptance (LoA) for construction and other works related to the proposed 5th and 6th line project between CSMT and Kurla.

The contract includes the construction of new platforms (PF No 1 & 2) with covers over platforms, elevated foot over bridges (FOBs), skywalks, and the addition of escalators and lifts. It also involves the dismantling of existing FOBs, booking offices, minor bridges, and other structures. Additionally, the work includes public infrastructure at the Sion station, such as a 60x12m public FOB, skywalk at CSMT, and other works related to the proposed 5th and 6th line project in Mumbai.

The total value of the contract is Rs 100.22 crore, and the completion period is 18 months, with expected delivery by May 2027.
