The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids for the development of a new greenfield airport at Bundi, Kota, Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes detailed designing, engineering, procurement, and construction of the new terminal building, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, fire station, car parking, city side development, and other associated facilities. The contract with an estimated cost of Rs 374.79 crore, will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, with the completion time for construction set at 18 months, including a provision of 60 days for rain across two monsoon seasons.
The contract also includes five years of operation and routine maintenance, along with three years of annual integrated comprehensive maintenance contract (AICMC) for electrical systems, IT infrastructure, airport surveillance (AS), passenger boarding bridges (PBB), and baggage handling system (BHS) post a defect liability period (DLP) of two years.
The closing date for bid submission is 15 August, 2025.
