ACME Venus Urja, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has secured long-term project funding worth Rs 3,892 crore from State Bank of India (SBI) for developing a 400 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project in Barmer, Rajasthan.
The loan, to be repaid over 19 years, marks the company’s largest financing from SBI and also represents SBI’s first funding in ACME’s FDRE portfolio. The project, contracted with NHPC at a tariff of Rs 4.64/Unit, will integrate solar power with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to ensure higher dispatchability and compliance with PPA obligations.
ACME Solar Holdings, the parent company, operates a diversified renewable portfolio spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions with an installed capacity of 2,890 MW, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable energy expansion.
