Ceigall India, one of India’s fastest-growing EPC firms, has forayed into the renewable energy sector by securing two letters of intent (LoIs) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution (MSEDCL).
The projects fall under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, aiming to establish grid-connected solar power facilities across multiple sites in Maharashtra. The company will develop 337 MW of solar capacity, awarded through MSEDCL’s tariff-based competitive bidding.
The move reflects Ceigall’s strategic diversification into high-growth, sustainable infrastructure. By expanding into renewable energy, Ceigall is strengthening its portfolio, aligning with India’s energy transition, and positioning itself to capitalize on future opportunities in the clean power sector.
Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director of Ceigall India, stated that this milestone not only marks Ceigall’s foray into green energy but also underlines its commitment to India’s clean energy targets. He emphasised that the company seeks to deliver world-class solar projects, empower communities with reliable renewable power, and create long-term stakeholder value.
