Waaree Renewable Technologies has been awarded a letter of award (LoA) for the execution of a large-scale solar power project with a capacity of 870 MWac/1218 MWp.

The project involves engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a grid connected ground mount solar power plant. As part of the scope, Waaree will also develop a 33kV/400kV substation and associated transmission line infrastructure to ensure smooth power evacuation and integration with the grid. In addition to the EPC responsibilities, the contract includes two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services, allowing Waaree to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the plant post-commissioning.

This project marks a significant addition to Waaree’s renewable energy portfolio and reinforces its position as a key player in India’s solar sector.
