Austria-based AT&S AG, a global leader in IC substrates and printed circuit boards, has announced the launch of an Information Technology Shared Service Centre (IT SSC) in Pune, Maharashtra. The centre will support the company’s trans-continental operations across Austria, China, Malaysia, and India, creating opportunities for skilled IT professionals in IT Security, SAP, and program development.
AT&S plans to recruit over 100 technical experts by 2025-26 to strengthen its global network of six manufacturing plants and nine sales offices. The Pune centre is a key element of AT&S’s Target Operating Model, leveraging India’s IT talent to enhance service quality. With this move, AT&S aligns with global corporations establishing shared service hubs in India, reinforcing the country’s position as a hub for IT expertise and innovation.
