Ajantha Radha Earth Movers has secured a contract worth Rs 2,302.85 crore from Northern Coalfields (NCL) for large-scale overburden removal at the Block-B Project, Gorbi Post, Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh.
The scope covers the excavation of 221.87 million bank cubic mtrs. (MBCM) of solid overburden using advanced mechanical means, including excavators, dumpers/trippers, drills, dozers, graders, and water sprinklers. This comprehensive work package also involves blast hole drilling, loading, transportation of broken rock/soil/earth, unloading/dumping, spreading, dozing, grading, and water sprinkling, all to be executed as per the engineer-in-charge’s directives.
The contract has a duration of five years and is a composite work order requiring seamless integration of excavation, hauling, and site management. The award underscores Ajantha Radha Earth Movers’ capability in executing high-volume, heavy earthmoving projects, strengthening its position in the mining and excavation industry.
