Variant Commercial has been awarded a contract worth Rs 94.21 crore by Mahanadi Coalfields (MCL) for handling, transportation, and related mining services.

The contract, structured on a percentage quote basis, covers the loading and transportation of coal from pit head stocks of Integrated Belpahar-Lakhanpur-Lilari Open Cast Project (Int Lbl OCP), Lakhanpur Area, to various designated destinations. This agreement signifies Variant Commercial’s growing footprint in India’s coal logistics and mining services sector.

The scope includes systematic and efficient coal movement from the point of extraction to end-use destinations, critical for maintaining supply chains in thermal power generation and industrial usage. The order execution is expected to improve coal evacuation from the Lakhanpur Area, boosting MCL’s operational efficiency and output delivery.
