Alpine Mayreder, Austria (Alphine) along with Hindustan Construction Co (that is Alpine-HCC joint venture) bagged an order worth Rs.297.51 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for design and construction of NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) Tunnel including switchover ramp and ventilation shaft in between Talkatora Garden and Budha Jayanti Park (Ridge Area)

The contract covers design and construction of 2.6 km long NATM tunnel, with a finished internal diameter of minimum 10 m for twin track railway, including access and ventilation shaft. It also includes external and temporary works for the metro rail transmission system link between Talkatora Garden and Budha Jayanti Park.  HCC's share in the total value of the contract is 49 per cent (Rs.145.78 crore).

The proposed project is a part of Airport Metro Express Line-I of DMRC's plan for the Mass Rapid Transit System.
