Alstom has secured a 42.09 million euros contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for comprehensive annual maintenance of Bombardier metro trains, depot machinery, plant systems, and housekeeping at Badli Depot.
The 10-year contract, awarded on 12 August 2025 after a competitive bidding process, underscores Alstom’s commitment to high safety, reliability, and efficiency standards. Alstom will provide comprehensive annual maintenance for Delhi Metro’s Badli depot, covering trains, depot machinery, plant systems, and housekeeping. The contract emphasizes scheduled, corrective, preventive, and overhaul services, leveraging predictive analytics and OEM support to enhance reliability, safety, and performance.
With data-driven platforms to prevent failures and reduce downtime, Alstom aims to deliver optimised, full-spectrum maintenance tailored to DMRC’s needs. Its proven global expertise, managing 35,500 vehicles across 250 sites, strengthens DMRC’s operational efficiency Beyond depot services, Alstom will also maintain onboard signalling equipment for all 103 trains operating on Lines 1 and 2.
