Atlas Copco Group has inaugurated a 2,70,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, dedicated to producing air and gas compressors, including CNG, biogas, and hydrogen compressors, as well as air dryers, nitrogen and oxygen generators, and medical filtration accessories.

Designed on Industry 4.0 principles, the plant integrates smart manufacturing and sustainability, with 80 percent of its energy sourced from a 1.3 MW rooftop solar system and the grid. The facility also features rainwater harvesting and advanced cooling systems, reinforcing its eco-friendly approach.

With multiple testing capabilities, the plant fosters research and development for future innovations. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certifications, ensuring adherence to stringent quality, safety, and environmental standards. The launch reaffirms Atlas Copco’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in India.
