Bharat Forge (BFL), a global leader in advanced forging and precision engineering, plans to establish a state-of-the-art ring mill in Pune dedicated to aerospace applications, following a major supply contract with Pratt & Whitney Canada for aero-engine components.
The new facility will enhance BFL’s aerospace manufacturing footprint and is designed to deliver high-performance components, meeting rigorous global quality and traceability standards. Set to be operational by 2026, the ring mill will support both domestic and international aerospace programs, strengthening India's aim of becoming a global aerospace manufacturing hub.
Bharat Forge already serves critical sectors such as automotive, defence, marine, and aerospace with innovative safety-critical components. Amit Kalyani, Vice-Chairman and JMD of BFL, stated, “We are excited to deepen our strategic relationship with Pratt & Whitney Canada through the establishment of this new ring mill.
