1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Godrej Aerospace division signs manufacturing contract with Pratt & Whitney

Godrej Enterprises Group’s Aerospace division has entered into a strategic manufacturing contract with Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of global aerospace giant RTX.

The agreement involves the production of complex aerospace components for aircraft engine applications, marking a significant milestone in India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities. This partnership is expected to enhance Godrej Aerospace’s technological prowess and expand its role in the global aerospace supply chain. Maneck Behramkamdin, Business Head of Godrej Aerospace, stated, “This contract with Pratt & Whitney is not just a business milestone – it is a testament to India’s rising capabilities in complex aerospace manufacturing.”

He noted that Godrej is leveraging advanced infrastructure, technical expertise, and adherence to global quality standards to support this initiative. Godrej Aerospace currently operates 35,000 sq. mtrs. of manufacturing capacity in India, with an additional 48,500 sq. mtrs.under development.

The expansion aims to strengthen India’s presence in high-precision engineering and contribute to global aerospace supply chains, reinforcing the country’s ambition to become a leading aerospace manufacturing hub.
