Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC) Department, Jammu and Kashmir has extended the last date for submission of bids to 14 July, 2025 for the selection of a contractor for revamping and modernisation of Marval lift irrigation scheme, Pulwama.

The scope of work of the NABARD RIDF XXX funded scheme comprises dismantling of old pumping units, shifting of all existing items/equipment under replacement to storage area within a lead of 100 mtrs., as well as retrofitting of new electromechanical equipment/gadgets in the existing infrastructure, stabilisation of 33KV tap line which includes supply erection of transmission line and allied equipment.

It also includes modernisation of the lift irrigation scheme by way of incorporation of SCADA system with centralised control and its operation and maintenance. Field instruments such as flow meters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters and energy meters.
