Stallion India Fluorochemicals has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan to set up a hydrofluoroolefin manufacturing plant at Bhilwara (Hurda) as part of its capacity expansion plans.
The proposed facility will involve an investment of about Rs 200 crore, with work on the production plant expected to begin in 2027. The new HFO plant aligns with the company’s strategy to strengthen its product portfolio and improve long-term competitiveness in sustainable refrigerant solutions. The expansion will be phased, with the R32 project targeted for commissioning by October 2026, followed by the HFO facility, supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Managing Director and CEO Shazad Rustomji said, “The signing of this MoU with the Government of Rajasthan marks an important milestone in our expansion journey towards advanced and sustainable refrigerant solutions.” He added that HFOs represent the next phase of low global warming potential refrigerants. Incorporated in 2002, Stallion India Fluorochemicals is a leading player in refrigerants and industrial gases and is expanding its focus on advanced, low-emission products.
