Bengaluru-based listed real estate developer Brigade Group has entered into a joint development agreement (JDA) for a new residential project in Banashankari, 5th Stage, South Bengaluru, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 1,200 crore.

The project will span 7.5 acres, aiming to blend heritage and connectivity with robust social and physical infrastructure, making it ideal for quality urban living. Brigade Group’s Managing Director, Pavitra Shankar, emphasised the company’s commitment to delivering thoughtfully designed homes that enhance the city’s growth and economic landscape.

This latest project adds to Brigade’s growing portfolio, which includes a Rs 2,700 crore residential development on Whitefield-Hoskote Road and a Rs 175 crore plotted development in East Bengaluru. Currently, Brigade Group has a strong pipeline of upcoming residential projects, totaling approx. 12.61 million sq. ft. across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The company continues to expand its footprint, targeting premium and affordable housing segments in South India’s major cities.
