British semiconductor company Arm is set to open a second office in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Speaking at the CII International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in New Delhi, Peter Stephens, Director of government relations stated that Arm currently has around 2,000 employees in the city and is expanding to a new building to accommodate further growth.
He also chairs the UK-India Tech Forum, an initiative by Nasscom and techUK aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two countries’ technology ecosystems. As governments worldwide navigate rapid technological advancements, the UK-India Tech Forum aims to identify key partnership opportunities, leveraging India’s expertise and potential in emerging fields.
