Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the much-anticipated PJR Flyover in Hyderabad on 28 June, 2025. The six-lane, bi-directional flyover spans from Shilpa Layout Phase 2 to Gachibowli Junction, serving as a critical transport link within the city’s rapidly growing IT corridor.

Built by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the flyover is designed to ease daily congestion and streamline traffic between key urban nodes such as Kondapur, Madhapur, Hitec City, and the Financial District. Named in memory of the late Congress leader and former Minister P Janardhan Reddy, popularly known as PJR, the new flyover pays tribute to his legacy and contributions to Hyderabad’s development.

The corridor aims to eliminate long-standing traffic bottlenecks along the Gachibowli-Kondapur stretch, which has seen increasing vehicular density due to the area's tech-driven growth. " This flyover is a crucial part of our commitment to improve commuting experiences and urban mobility," said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during the launch. Thousands of commuters are expected to benefit daily, with reduced travel time and enhanced road safety, significantly improving accessibility across the city's technology and business hubs.
