The Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road in Bandra locality of Mumbai, where Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan owns a sea-facing terrace apartment, is set to be redeveloped by Sri Lotus Developers and Realty. The project will provide homeowners with a 155 percent increase in space post-redevelopment.
The society, comprising 53 flats spread across three wings on a 4,000 sq. metre collector’s leasehold plot, was constructed in the 1980s and has been in talks with developers since July 2024. The society expects to vacate in six to eight months, with construction likely to take three years plus a six-month grace period.
The redevelopment covers a sea-facing acre of land with a total built-up area of six lakh sq. ft., and an estimated development value of Rs 2,000 crore.
