Ceigall Infra Projects, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ceigall India, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major highway project awarded by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC).
The tender, dated 28 November, 2025, involves the construction of an access-controlled, greenfield four-lane highway with paved shoulders between Indore and Ujjain, spanning 48.10 km. The project begins at km 0.000 near Pitra Parvat and concludes at km 48.100 near Simhastha Bypass (km 2.600). It will be executed under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM), ensuring both public-private partnership efficiency and long-term asset performance.
With a bid value of Rs 1,089 crore, the contract carries a 24-month completion timeline from the appointed date. Once completed, it will significantly improve connectivity, reduce congestion on existing routes, and enhance regional mobility between Indore and Ujjain.
