Adani Green Energy (AGEL), through its stepdown subsidiaries, has successfully operationalized 87.5 MW of renewable power projects at Khavda in Gujarat.
This commissioning marks another milestone in the company’s ambitious expansion plan to strengthen its renewable energy portfolio. With the addition of this capacity, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has now reached 16,078 MW. The development at Khavda further consolidates Adani Green Energy’s position as India’s largest renewable energy company and a significant contributor to the country’s clean energy transition.
The Khavda project aligns with AGEL’s long-term vision of achieving 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by FY30. It also underlines the company’s ongoing focus on large-scale solar and wind energy projects that leverage Gujarat’s vast potential for green power.
