Central Railway has floated a tender for major bridges, road over bridges (ROBs) and various civil structures on Solapur-Tuljapur section in Maharashtra.

The scope of work includes earth work, major bridges, minor bridges, road over bridges (ROBs), road under bridges, limited height subways/pedestrian crossing, retaining wall, drains, track laying and civil works including station buildings, service buildings, platforms, residential quarters, station machinery, compound wall and fencing along the alignment from Solapur (ch (-) 1086) to Tuljapur (ch 52500) except ch. 45760 to ch.48660 (i.e., except tunnel portion) in connection with new line section under Solapur division.

The duration of the contract is 30 months, and is to be carried out at a cost of Rs 942.03 crore.

The closing date for bid submission is 06 August, 2024.
