Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated significant water supply infrastructure projects in Agartala, marking a milestone for the city’s development.
The inauguration ceremony, held at Rabindra Centenary Bhavan, saw the launch of 45 deep tube wells and 27 iron removal plants under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme. The project also integrates 206 km of new pipelines, providing 16,224 households with direct access to clean drinking water. Dr. Saha emphasised the government's proactive approach to enhancing urban services and strengthening the city’s water distribution system, ensuring reliable potable water for residents.
This initiative underscores the state’s commitment to improving civic services and driving sustainable development for Agartala's growing population.
