DLF Group is planning a township
project - DLF Garden City - near Panchkula in Haryana for which the
company is scouting for 200 acres of land. Of the total land required, the
company has acquired 34 acres of land on the National Highway-22.
The company is awaiting licence from
the Haryana government, which is expected by end April 2008, after which the
work for the township will commence. Apart from the residential apartments the
integrated township will have special features like club house, schools, which
could be in collaboration with Vijay International School and Educom and an
hospital to be set up by Fortis or Wockhardt.
