Dara Engineering & Infrastructures has been awarded a contract worth Rs 231.16 crore by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan.
The order involves the retrofitting of the Cluster Water Supply Project Package-IV under the Chambal-Bhilwara Water Supply Project Phase-II. The work will cover Sahada, Raipur, and Suwana tehsils of Bhilwara district and is a part of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) initiative. It will also include the operation and maintenance (O&M) for ten years after a one-year defect liability period.(DLP). The total project completion period is 20 months.
A key objective of the project is to enhance the drinking water supply infrastructure to meet the needs of rural populations in the target regions. The scope of work includes upgrading pipelines, storage, pumping systems, and treatment facilities to ensure sustainable and safe water delivery.
