Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a letter of intent (LoI) worth Rs 1,349.11 crore from Adani Energy Solutions for the supply of 24,080 km of AL-59 high-performance conductors.
As per regulatory filings, the supply will support critical transmission infrastructure across several high-profile projects. These include Jamnagar, Khavda-IV D, HVDC, Navinal-II, and Mahan-II. The project is to be fully executed by June 2028 and is seen as a significant boost to Diamond Power’s order book and capabilities in delivering large-scale, high-voltage transmission solutions. The contract will be executed on a "kilometer rate basis with PV (Price Variation) Formulae".
The AL-59 conductor, known for its high conductivity and lightweight, plays a vital role in modern transmission networks aimed at reducing losses and increasing efficiency. This order also aligns with the country’s push toward enhancing grid reliability and supporting renewable energy evacuation.
