Dover India, a subsidiary of Dover Corporation, and RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru, have announced a strategic partnership to establish a laboratory focused on materials and component reliability testing under RVCE’s Centre for Hydrogen and Green Technology.
Located on the RVCE campus, this facility will serve as a national hub for advanced research in hydrogen technologies and material performance under extreme conditions. The lab will support next-generation research in hydrogen generation, storage, transportation, safety, and applications, with contributions from over 20 technologists from Dover India Innovation Center (DIIC) and RVCE.
The infrastructure, developed to global standards, is the first of its kind in India and among only a few globally. Over time, the collaboration is expected to expand into areas such as sustainable materials, IoT, and Industry 4.0. “This partnership enables us to foster a strong academia-industry collaboration that will fuel the next wave of clean energy innovation,” said Vivek Srivastava, R&D Head at Dover India.
The lab will also act as a training ground for RVCE students to develop expertise in clean energy, leveraging DIIC's advanced R&D capabilities established in Jigani, Bengaluru.
