Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced a comprehensive expansion strategy for Singareni Collieries Company.
The plan aims to transform Singareni into a global player through critical mineral acquisition, interstate operations, and diversification beyond coal mining. Highlighting recent tenders secured for gold and copper exploration in Karnataka, Minister Bhatti emphasised leveraging the company’s expertise in mining. Singareni posted a net profit of RS 6,394 crore last year, with Rs 4,034 crore allocated for new and ongoing projects.
Supported by consultancies like PwC and KPMG, Singareni is poised to grow as a model public sector enterprise while securing its legacy and advancing Telangana’s mineral ambitions.
