The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, has announced a three-year Public Private partnership (PPP) project pipeline covering 852 projects across the Centre and states, with a total estimated cost exceeding Rs 17 lakh crore.
This initiative, in line with the Union Budget 2025-26, aims to provide early visibility of potential PPP projects to help investors, developers, and other stakeholders make informed planning and investment decisions. Of the total projects, 232 projects worth Rs 13.15 lakh crore will be executed by eight central departments and infrastructure ministries, while 620 projects totalling Rs 3.84 lakh crore will be undertaken by 20 states and Union Territories.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways leads with 108 central projects costing Rs 8.77 lakh crore, followed by the Ministry of Power and the Department of Water Resources. Among states, Andhra Pradesh tops the list with 270 projects valued at Rs 1.16 lakh crore. The pipeline is expected to accelerate infrastructure development, promote investment, and strengthen public-private collaboration across India.
