The permanent campus of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Uttarakhand, will be established in Sumari village in Srinagar, Uttarakhand.
The foundation stone of the permanent campus will be laid in early September 2019.
Of the 309 acre of land parcel, 203 acre has been identified for building the permanent campus. The upcoming session of NIT, Uttarakhand, will be started in the temporary campus itself and a high-level committee will be made to transfer students from NIT, Jaipur campus.
However, the process of admission for the next session will start from the permanent campus.
