Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for a medical college on the premises of Government General Hospital in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 266 crore. The college will be come up over an area of 12.22 acre of land under guidelines of the Medical Council.
Five lecture halls, administrative block, central library, central workshop, 13 medical departments, boys and girls hostels, staff quarters, laundry, kitchen, canteen and other facilities will be constructed.
