GAIL India, inaugurated its new office building titled ‘GAIL Jubilee Tower’, located at B-35, 36, Sector-I, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
On 3 April 2014, GAIL India’s new office building was inaugurated by Saurabh Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG).
The 22 storey new office building has height of 118 mtr and is equipped with high-speed lifts.
The new office building has been designed as per LEED-Platinum Green Building norms. The building has its own captive power generation plant using gas engine generators and the waste heat emitted out of it is used to run the Air Conditioning system. Also a 30 kW solar plant has also been installed for area lighting.
Also it has a three tier semi-automatic car park, which can house about 265 vehicles in the basement. The new office building has a sitting capacity of 600 people and houses the National Gas Management Centre (NGMC) which is linked to all the major pipeline centres of GAIL, called Regional Gas Management Centres.
The construction of the building was completed in four years. Besides the building has a sewage treatment plant and rainwater harvesting system.
