Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has announced plans to build world-class, AI-first healthcare ecosystems called “Adani Healthcare Temples,” starting in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
Speaking at the fifth Annual Conference of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery - Asia Pacific (SMISS-AP) in Mumbai, Adani revealed, "We will be delivering on this promise through the Adani Healthcare Temples -- 1,000-bed integrated campuses that we will initiate from Ahmedabad and Mumbai." These healthcare institutions are envisioned as globally benchmarked, affordable, and technology-driven infrastructures.
Adani highlighted the Mayo Clinic’s involvement in guiding the project’s design, implementation, and adherence to global medical standards. Adani also stated that the Group is preparing for a capital expenditure investment of nearly 100 billion US dollars over the next five years, calling it a reflection of India's future. He described the scale and speed of this investment as "unprecedented in India's private sector history."
