Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed an initial memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to collaborate on port infrastructure development projects valued at Rs 5,000 crore.
The MoU aims to explore cooperation in financing, refinancing, and development of both existing and upcoming infrastructure projects at JN Port. This partnership, which is nonbinding, marks a strategic step towards enhancing port infrastructure and aligning with HUDCO’s objectives to provide financial support for such large-scale ventures.
The MoU was signed by Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, and Unmesh Sharad Wagh, Chairman of JNPA.
