Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company (MPUDCL) in Indore.
The agreement signifies a major step toward accelerating infrastructure and housing development in the state. Under the non-binding MoU, HUDCO will provide financial assistance of Rs 1,00,000 crore over the next five years. The funds will support various housing and urban infrastructure projects across Madhya Pradesh.
The collaboration aims to address urban development needs while improving the standard of living for residents through enhanced housing and civic amenities. In addition to funding, HUDCO will extend consulting services and capacity-building support to MPUDCL. This will help ensure the effective planning, execution, and management of proposed initiatives, fostering sustainable urban growth.
HUDCO is primarily engaged in financing housing and urban development projects across India. The partnership with MPUDCL aligns with its broader mission of promoting planned urbanisation and infrastructure development throughout the country.
