Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement for its latest property, Lemon Tree Resort, Pench, Maharashtra, to be managed by its subsidiary Carnation Hotels.
The upcoming wildlife resort will feature 60 well-appointed rooms along with a restaurant, banquet hall, swimming pool, spa, and various recreational facilities. Conveniently connected by road, the property is located 85 km from Nagpur Airport and 62 km from Nagpur Railway Station.
The resort is set against the backdrop of Pench National Park, a renowned wildlife destination spread over 758 sq. km across Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Named after the Pench River, the park is home to diverse wildlife including the Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, striped hyena, sloth bear, and antelope. Recognized as a national park in 1975 and a tiger reserve in 1992, it remains a popular spot for nature enthusiasts.
CEO Vilas Pawar stated that this project strengthens Lemon Tree’s wildlife portfolio and expands its Maharashtra presence, where it currently operates 14 hotels with 10 more under development.
