Inox Solar, part of the INOXGFL Group, has signed a Rs 7,000-crore agreement with China’s LONGi Green Energy Technology Co. to supply five GW of solar modules over the next three years.
Under the deal, LONGi will source modules from Inox Solar for India, while providing technical support, quality assurance, and production expertise to ensure adherence to global standards. The partnership aligns with Inox Solar’s expansion plans, following the launch of its 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing plant at Bavla, near Ahmedabad, which will be scaled up to three GW.
Additionally, Inox is developing a 4.8 GW integrated solar cell and module facility in Dhenkanal, Odisha. The company, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, is preparing for an IPO later this year as it strengthens its role in India’s growing renewable manufacturing sector amid rising local sourcing incentives.
