Juniper Green Energy has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for a 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat, scheduled to commence power supply from July 2027.
The agreement, executed through its subsidiary Juniper Green Bess Two, was formally signed on 18 July, 2025. The project strengthens Juniper Green Energy’s renewable portfolio in Gujarat and aligns with India’s clean energy expansion goals. In addition to the PPA, the company has secured a letter of intent (LoI) from GUVNL for an additional 50 MW wind project, received on 14 July, 2025. This LoI is a result of Juniper Green Energy’s successful bid under GUVNL’s wind tender issued in January 2025.
CEO Ankush Malik expressed pride in partnering with GUVNL to deliver sustainable wind energy and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to scaling renewable capacity in the state. As an independent renewable energy producer, Juniper Green Energy develops, constructs, and operates utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid projects, aiming to contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy targets while driving green growth in Gujarat.
