KBR has bagged a
contract from Krishak Bharati Cooperative (KRIBHCO) to provide licensing and
basic engineering services to upgrade two ammonia plants located in
Hazira, Surat in Gujarat.
KBR is licensing
KRIBHCO its PurifierTM ammonia technology as part of the revamp of the
plants. In addition to technology licensing, the company is providing engineering
services to increase the capacity of each ammonia plant to 1,890 tonne per day
and to reduce overall energy consumption at the plants.
