Kamat Hotels (India) (KHIL), a pioneer in environmentally sensitive hospitality services, has signed an agreement to manage and operate a new luxury hotel in Nashik under its flagship brand, The Orchid. This boutique business and leisure hotel will feature 57 elegantly appointed rooms, a swimming pool, a full-service health club, spacious banquet facilities, and curated in-house dining experiences.

Strategically located in northern Maharashtra, Nashik is a city known for its spiritual heritage, cultural vibrancy, and growing economic footprint. It is home to sacred sites along the Godavari River, the globally recognized Kumbh Mela, and India’s flourishing wine industry, which has earned it the title “Wine Capital of India.”

Dr. Vithal Kamat, Executive Chairman & Managing Director of KHIL, stated, “The launch of our second Orchid-branded hotel in Nashik marks a significant milestone in strengthening our footprint across Maharashtra, bringing our total presence in the state to ten properties.” Executive Director Vishal Kamat added that the hotel is expected to be fully operational by March 2026 and will cater to both business and leisure travellers. The project reflects KHIL’s continued focus on delivering sustainable luxury across India’s key urban centers.
