The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has invited bids for interface design, testing and commissioning of transmission line Packages-I and II on EPC mode.
Package I includes green energy corridor projects wherein Project I comprises the Ramokkalmedu Green Energy Corridor Project (RGEC), and includes the construction of 110 kV DC line from Pushpakandam (near Ramakkalmedu) to Nedumkandam substation- nine km; and 220/1,10 kV MCMV line (up gradation) from Kuyilimala (LILO point) to the proposed 220 kV substation at Nirmala City-20 km.
The Attapody Green Energy Corridor Proiect (AGEC) under Project -II involves the construction of 220 kV DC line from Vettathur (LILo point) to the proposed 221 kV substation at Agali-49 km.
Package II comprises the downstream works of 400 kV Substation, Karindolom (Kasarogod) under Project III involving the construction of 220kV DC Line from LILO point of 220kV Vidyanagar-Thalassery feeder to 400 kV substation Karindalam of nine km. Project IV covers l70 kV DC link of Kuthunkal-Neriomangolom-Nedumkondam, and the construction of 110 kV DC line from Kuthunkal Neriomqngatam LILo point to Nedumkondom substation at Idduki -17 km.
The contract is valued at Rs 265.28 crore, and the contractor is expected to ensure the handing over and a seven-year performance of the line.
