Larsen & Toubro in association with
Shanghai Urban Construction (Group) Corporation secured an order worth Rs.275
crore from Delhi Metro Railway Corporation for construction of 2.4 km of
underground twin tunnel starting from the IGI Airport Station to Dwarka
Sector-21 in the airport metro express line of the Delhi Metro (Phase II)
project.
L&T and Shanghai Urban Construction
(Group) Corporation will have a 51:49 joint venture in the proposed project. The
project involves construction of 1.6 km of bored twin tunnel by using tunnel
boring machines (TBM) and 0.8km of tunnel by cut and cover method.
