Linc Pen & Plastics, a manufacturer and supplier of office stationery, inaugurated its factory in Umbergaon in Gujarat, on 1 May, 2017.
This is the third manufacturing unit of the company. The new unit will add 18 crore pens annually, which will be raised to around 50 crore pens annually.
The new unit is spread over 85,000 sq ft and has entailed an investment of Rs 26 crore in the first phase. The unit will initially employ 300 people.
The company has two manufacturing units in Kolkata and Falta, which jointly have a capacity to manufacture one billion pens annually.
