MB Power Madhya Pradesh (MBPMPL) has commissioned Unit-I (600 MW) of Anuppur Thermal Power Project in Madhya Pradesh.
Hindustan Power Projects’ special purpose vehicle (SPV) MBPMPL, is implementing Phase-I of 1,200 MW (2 x 600 MW) of the project. Coal for the project will be sourced from South Eastern Coalfields and water will be sourced from the River Son.
The total capacity of the thermal power project to be developed is 2,520 MW. The project is planned to be executed in two phases: Phase-I of 1,200 MW (2 x 600 MW) and Phase-II of 1,320 MW (2 x 660 MW).
