Mahindra Lifespace Developers has launched an integrated green township Mahindra World City spread across 1,500 acre of land in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The project 'Lakewoods' to come up at the township will have 747 apartments spread across 9.33 acre of land. The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TN RERA) approval has been obtained for Phase-I of the project which will comprise 249 units. he project will be developed in three phases over a period of six years.
The township project offers multi-format residential projects located within 285 acre of residential, social and retail infrastructure. It is India's first IGBC Gold (Stage-1) certified green township and home to corporate India's first operational special economic zone (SEZ).
The company's development footprint spans 23 million sq ft of completed, ongoing and forthcoming residential projects across seven Indian cities.
It is also developing 4,960 acre of ongoing and forthcoming projects at its integrated industrial clusters in four cities.
