Megha Engineering and Infrastructures (MEIL) has bagged three work orders
from Goa and Karnataka Governments worth Rs 297.11 crore.
MEIL in consortium with Sudhir Projects and Pratibha Company has bagged an
order from the Goa Government for construction and rehabilitation of
transmission mains, and a drinking water project from
Salaulim Dam to Verna, worth of Rs 241.50 crore. The work was taken up under
Japan International Cooperation Agency loan by the Goa Water supply and Sewerage
Project Department. Work on the project is expected to commence by July 2011
with completion slated for 2013.
Further, MEIL has bagged two more work orders from Bidar City Municipal
Council, Karnataka. One is worth Rs 28.03 crore for 'new bulk water supply and
new water treatment plant for Bidar city and, the other worth of Rs 27.58 crore
is for rehabilitation of distribution system for Bidar city.
