The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has requested 8,818 sq. mtrs. of land from the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) for constructing the main Namo Bharat railway station at Dharuhera, significantly revising its initial request of 2,226 sq. mtrs.
This increase follows a redesign of the station to ensure better multimodal integration and provide a nine-mtrs. access road to the nearby fire station. The total land requirement for the station has now been revised to 20,985 sq. mtrs. from the earlier 16,286 sq. mtrs.. The station is part of the 107-km Delhi–Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror (SNB) RRTS corridor, which forms the first phase of the Delhi-SNB RRTS line under the Namo Bharat project.
The corridor passes through key urban nodes like Gurugram, Manesar, Panchgaon, and Rewari. The Haryana Government has approved the detailed project report (DPR). A senior HSVP official confirmed that they are finalising modalities for transferring the land at different locations needed for the project.
