NHPC is constructing an 800 MW hydroelectric project in Himachal Pradesh. All of the four units of 200 MW each, of the Parbati-II HE project are expected to be completed by December 2024.
The company is also constructing the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower HE power project, comprising eight units of 250 MW each, along the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Of these, three units are expected to be completed by March 2025, and the remaining units would be completed phase-wise by May 2026.
