NLC India has invited bids for selecting an engineering consultant for the establishment of a 4 MW PEM electrolyser-based green hydrogen plant at Neyveli, Tamil Nadu.
The scope of work includes various phases, such as design and engineering review, procurement support, and project monitoring. The consultant will be responsible for reviewing basic and detailed engineering documents, coordinating with the EPC contractor and OEMs, and ensuring the technical validation of process design and safety systems in compliance with statutory norms. Project monitoring will include tracking progress, scheduling (using tools like MSP/Primavera), cost monitoring, and risk management.
During the commissioning phase, the consultant will supervise both cold and hot commissioning, handle documentation, and manage punch list closures, ensuring that the project is handed over upon final acceptance testing. The project is a part of NLC India’s push to develop green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source.
The bid submission closing date is 30 January, 2026.
